Summary: Handwritten and printed documents relating to Act 18 Stat. 305, granting land within present-day Tucson, including the text of the Act and correspondence between William Osborn in Tucson, the Dept. of the Interior General Land Office, and Levi Ruggles, the registrar of the U.S. Land Office in Florence, Arizona. The materials do not include names of the claimants to the land. A photocopy of a recent map of the area involved is also present.
